PJ Mouse's adventure continues in a trip with Emily across Canada. The family travels in a 5th wheel (and if you don't know what that is, there is a picture of it to show you). I've travelled extensively throughout Canada but PJ has done stuff that I haven't even done - like climb a glacier! He gets to visit Niagara Falls and learn French in Quebec. What a smart little mouse! There is a map of Canada in the back for you to follow along.I've learned things about Canada that I never knew before.

Poor PJ is dropped in a puddle after he's bought in a store but Emily finds him and he turns out to be a lucky mouse because he gets to go on a vacation through Canada.The Travel Adventures of PJ Mouse in Canada encourages children to use their imagination as well as teaching about some of the exciting places in Canada. They'll never realize that they're learning while they enjoy reading this story!

First, let's talk about the illustrations. Jackson pointed out that they look like someone colored them in with colored pencil, and he really enjoyed that. Also, the illustrations really complimented the text itself, which sometimes in chapter books for kids they are mostly just little doodles with no real point to them.
