Ilustration During Books Love Me If You Dare (Safe Haven #2)

Some things change...

It’s been three years since Kaylee Sawyer has been home—home to the alcoholic mother she can’t handle, home to the painful memories of her sister Ella... and home to the guilt she’s carried for years. About to enter her final year of college, she is determined to come to terms with the mess of her past—and to ignore the guy whose single kiss has been tattooed into her mind forever.

Some things stay the same...

Dylan McKay is still golden haired and dangerous, the flame Kaylee was always afraid to touch for fear of getting burnt. But despite the damage that’s been done, she finds that she still can’t stay away from the one person who accepted her the way she was.

Some things are meant to be.

Kaylee is no longer the innocent girl she once was. Though tragedy ripped them apart before, one look from Dylan brings all of the old feelings rushing back. Torn between her past and her future, she’s not sure if a person can ever truly go home again.

But Dylan doesn’t plan to let her go without a fight.

Recommended for mature readers aged 17+ due to language and sexual content.

Judgment Based On Books Love Me If You Dare (Safe Haven #2)
I enjoyed this book more than the first. Kathleen and Dylan have a ghost that stands between them....it's time to allow the ghost to rest. A great story about growing up and understanding your own actions.

Loved this.I'm not a fan of first person, preferring third person but Kate Laurens made it work. Kaylee is a wonderful heroine. Unsure of herself, dealing with an alcoholic mother and the death of her sister..she comes home to deal with her past and it takes the shape of Dylan McKay. The book was delicious, the characters were delicious despite its first person flaw. It's definitely a must read and must buy.

Before I begin, I was given a copy of this book to read for an honest review*MAY CONTAIN MINOR SPOILERS*First, can I say what a GORGEOUS cover this book has??!! It kind of reminded me of the cover of Walking Disaster. Anyways, this book definitely has *THAT* feel to it when you read angsty books or when the hero/heroine goes through a traumatic event and is trying to move on. In mythology, the firebird would burst into flames and be reduced to ashes. But then from the ashes he would be born

It's sad when you go to buy a book and it tells you that you already own this book .... Was already purchased. Well hello cover change now this is more memorable ..... Cause I def judged this book by its cover ❤

Love Me If You Dare was a great NA romance that truly embodied what I think of as NA. Kaylee truly did come into herself throughout the book. She learned more about herself and how she fit into her own world. The romance between her and Dylan was anything but easy and that's what makes it such a great read. I can't stand when everything just falls into place. With Love Me If You Dare the characters struggle and fight and love like a real couple. There aren't any lines that you read and think no

I can honestly say that I was not expecting this book to be so deep, for lack of a better word. The issues Kaylee and Dylan are dealing with are heart-wrenching and deep -- deeper than I thought they would be going in.I liked the book. I liked the growth of the characters. It slowed a bit in the middle however it never made me stop reading. I was stunned at how much this book made me reach inside myself to deal with Kaylee's and Dylan's issues. All I can say is wow.Looking forward to revisiting

The second book in the Safe Haven series is an emotionally charged love story of two lovers torn apart by tragedy. Kaylee and Dylan must confront their past and come terms with the guilt they feel for a past tragedy before they can have a future. The author conveys the drama and emotions with a vividness that has the reader emotionally engaged in the story as well drawn to the characters. The plot flows smoothly between each intriguing moment of emotional growth and acceptance that the reader can
