Narrative In Pursuance Of Books Judgment in Death (In Death #11)

'She stood in Purgatory and studied death. The blood and the gore of it, the ferocity of its glee. It had come to this place with the wilful temper of a child, full of heat and passion and careless brutality.' In an uptown strip joint a cop is found bludgeoned to death. The weapon's a baseball bat. The motive is a mystery. It's a case of serious overkill that pushes Eve Dallas straight into overdrive. Her investigation uncovers a private club that's more than a hot spot. Purgatory's a last chance for atonement where everyone is judged. Where your ultimate fate depends on your most intimate sins. And where one cop's hidden secrets are about to plunge innocent souls into vice-ridden damnation...

Weigh Up Regarding Books Judgment in Death (In Death #11)
Someone is killing cops on Eve Dallas' watch and she won't stand for that. The first cop was killed in a nightclub owned by her husband Roarke, so he won't stand for it either. Together they make a formidable team, but all is not peaches and cream and they have their first real row over Roarke's over-protectiveness of Eve when she's facing danger on the job. All my favourite characters feature in this novel and are developing nicely. Peabody is enjoying juggling two lovers and sometimes giving

Judgment in Death is #11 in the In Death series, and a re-read for me. My love of this series continues I would say its the best series Ive ever read (my personal opinion of course!) Author JD Robb seems to have unlimited ideas for this series, and I hope she never runs out!For Detective Eve Dallas, this case is far too personal. Cops dying, being brutally murdered one after the other the rage of the killer was obvious; the little constants always there. Eve, with the help of the whole NYPSD

Really enjoyed this one! I am noticing that I definitely appreciate these books more when I space them up somewhat. Otherwise, they can feel a bit repetitive and Eve might get on your nerves 🙂... Webster was a pleasant surprise as an addition to the character Dynamics. Looking forward to the next mystery

Her investigation uncovers a private club that's more than a hot spot. This series is addictive. Although the number of books in the series is quite daunting! "I don't know how to do this! I love you, and it makes me crazy."He had to laugh. She looked so baffled."Christ Jesus, Eve, you're a piece of

I liked this one, if not for the mistake made by the killer I would have liked it till the end. As usual Eve and Roarke don't disappoint. I'm happy there was finally someone for Roarke to be jealous of too!

The one where eve goes after a cop killer who is also a cop. Notable for her and Roarke having a major fight. I hated the tension, but it felt so realistic. All couples fight and this one lasts the majority of the book. I really liked Eve in this one. She softens up and Roarkes dark side comes out. Listen to me now, and carefully. Touch her, put your hand on whats mine again, and Ill follow you to hell and peel the skin from your bones. Ill feed you your own eyes. I take an oath on it. Remember

5 I Can't Stop Reading Robb Stars* * * * * Spoiler FreeAs a dedicated romance reader with a past history of mystery/thriller for years...this series is nirvana for me. It fulfills everything I love about stories and the process of reading. It keeps my mind engaged and my heart full. This is a powerful combination and Robb has hit the Mother Lode in balancing out these elements. To have a series first published in 1995 and continuing to this day...Staggering.Because I have come to this series
