Write-Up Of Books Six Months Later
4.5 Stars!I love a good mystery and I also happen to love the YA genre but sadly there just aren't enough mysteries in this genre for whatever reason. For I don't know how long I have been saying that I wish more writers would branch out of the paranormal and into the mystery, because really, the stretch isn't too bad and thankfully someone out there is listening because this year I have noticed a few YA mysteries popping up more and more and I couldn't be more excited about it. Not only are

Okay, so truth in advertising: Yes, I blog with this author. Yes, we're friends. I'm sure some people will think that's going to make me crazy biased, but I don't review books on GR unless I LOVED them and this one? I loved it. Truly.Okay. So disclaimer aside, let's get to the good stuff. I won't bother with a synopsis because y'all know I can't summarize for crap so I'll stick to what I liked.Chloe. She's a great heroine and so so so human. Here's a girl who wakes up to a whole new life and,

WOW!!! I was hooked after the first chapter. I could not put this book down! Literally read the entire thing in one day! Chloe is your typical high school junior. She is feeling the pressure from everyone to improve her grades and prepare for the SAT. Chloe has spend her high school career being best friends with Maggie and crushing on the popular guy Blake. During study hall Chloe decides to take a quick nap and when she wakes up she realizes that either she slept for six months for something

I recently read 6 Months Later by Natalie Richards I really liked when Chloe started to realize that she was falling in love with Adam because I have the same love for my dog and it was just a beautiful moment. It was a great book, very suspenseful and the ending was just shocking. It was also very interesting to watch Chloe piece together the whole mystery.

This review and others are posted at Inspiring Insomnia. Before you decide to read Six Months Later, you should ask yourself this question: Are you OK reading a mystery that is not mysterious whatsoever? I'm not particularly adept at guessing endings, but in this case, I figured out the big secret very early on. As I continued reading , it became increasingly evident that I was correct. I was still prepared to enjoy myself, but everything here fell apart as the ending neared, and the story grew

I really enjoyed Six Months Later. Imagine a row of books that are all in similar shades of pastel, nothing wrong with pastel mind you, but then imagine one that just pops out like a neon light....well that is what Six Months Later was like for me. It just stood out among the many books I have read lately providing such a refreshing and much needed change of pace. Six Months Later is a YA thriller that had the feel of reading a movie to me. One day in study hall, Chloe falls asleep. When she

This book gets 4 stars because it is so perfect for High School students. The language, tone, and emphasis are just right for this age, and the subject matter is interesting if not entirely original. It begins as a mystery but includes sub themes of family, friends, and the demands to excel academically in the increasingly competitive atmosphere of college entrance exams.Unlike many YA books which turn parents into caricatures or obviate them altogether, this novel portrays realistic
