And I have to say that I've never been this disappointed in a book.I'm currently struggling to actually make myself finish this thing, having skimmed several immensely oring chapters. This book is not worth your money, seriously. Especially if you're a fan of the chronicles, especially if you adore Lestat such as I do... don't do this to yourself.

I'm proud to say that I made it to a healthy half way point of 175 pages before giving up. The final nail in this coffin (heh) comes from the realization that:1. Nothing is happening. 2. All the vampires act the same, including speech patterns and overall demeanor, regardless if they are 3,000 or 50 years old. You know what would make an old vampire more believable to me?
