The Renegades Trilogy continues, in this fiercely awaited second installment after the New York Times-bestselling Renegades by Marissa Meyer, author of the Lunar Chronicles.Time is running out.
Together, they can save the world.
But they each other's worst nightmare.
In Renegades, Nova and Adrian (aka Insomnia and Sketch) fought the battle of their lives against the Anarchist known as the Detonator. It was a short-lived victory.
The Anarchists still have a secret weapon, one that Nova believes will protect her. The Renegades also have a strategy for overpowering the Anarchists, but both Nova and Adrian understand that it could mean the end of Gatlon City - and the world - as they know it.

Marissa Meyer has done it again. I am TRULY blown away by Archenemies. Stay tuned for my spoiler-filled video review!CW: violence, oppressionRenegades was already a fantastically constructed world, but Archenemies breaks the boundaries for what we know of Gatlon City. I cannot get enough of the politics of this world. Conflict goes far beyond what we already know of the Renegades power and the Anarchists will for vengeance. Morals are questioned, friends become suspects, and tensions are higherContinuing buddy read with my dear Maica!4.5 starsANOTHER CLIFFHANGER?! AGH! OMG, SO MUCH WENT DOWN!!!ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! THIS IS RIDICULOUS! Two books in and everyone still doesnt know the identities of everyones alter egos!!! UGHIts too late. Im addicted to this series lolCan it be November already?!RTC

the synopsis didnt lie: in archenemies the line between good and evil really has been blurred.on one side you have the renegades, the so called good guys who fight the villains that endanger society. on the other hand, you have the anarchists, the bad ones, the villains. however, in this book you start questioning everything you were led to believe. are the renegades really that great, after having developed something that could stripe someone of their powers in a matter of seconds? is, what
i feel like i could copy and paste my review for renegades and everything would apply to this sequel. we stan a consistent series! lol. again, this series is the only story i have read where the plot centres around crime fighting superheroes. like actual heroes vs. villains. and i forget how cheesy it can be at times, especially during the action sequences. literally all that is missing is a POW or BAM in little balloon bubbles down the margins. but once you get past that, the story is actually
